eBay has released a new desktop client, eBay Desktop, a free application that provides you a desktop alternative to the eBay website. You can use it to search, browse, bid, keep track of your auctions, and more. It has a simpler eBay interface that lets you quickly find what you are looking for on eBay. eBay Desktop offers some unique features that aren’t available on the website, like a history of viewed items, customizable reminder, and feeds.
eBay Desktop developed using Adobe AIR runtime. This makes it easier to create internet-connected, visually rich desktop applications. You'll need to have AIR installed on your computer before you can run eBay Desktop.
You can download eBay Desktop free from here. When you install eBay Desktop, Adobe AIR is installed as well if you don’t already have it on your computer. It supports Windows XP/Vista or MacOS X 10.4/10.5. All you need to use it is a valid eBay account to enjoy your eBay experience.
